Until today I have had no problems with the Information Return System. I just tried to create an electronic file to upload W-2s to SSA. I received the message "Run time error '5' - Invalid procedure call or argument". It will not generate the W-2 efile.
Anyone have a solution? Is it a Windows issue or an IRS issue?
