Is anyone else having problems with the NACHA file saying the immediate destination is invalid? I opened it up & looked at it & compared it to a file that was previously accepted for upload & I have located the problem. On the 1st line the introductory 101 before the Routing Number of the federal bank has to have a space after it or it will not upload. I can open it in notepad & fix it, but why would I want to do that every week when I upload payroll? I know it may sound petty to some people but time is money & we're already paying enough for this software for it not to have these little problems fixed. Is anyone else having this problem with the direct deposit?
I am not having any issues with our NACHA files. But I also haven't done the update either. Are all these issues you've been having since doing the update by chance? If so, contacting customer support to report any issues might help so they can include a patch in the next update.
Yes that's why we post on here is so they'll see it & put a plan into motion to fix it if we can't work it out ourselves. Yes I'm assuming the problem started after the update. It was a change with the banks that I upload to that said I would have to change my file to meet the new regulations. I opened the file up in notepad & fixed it where it would upload after I posted this, but like I said we shouldn't have to be fixing the problems...Intuit should be taking care of them. I know, out of all the people across the entire United States of America that use EasyAcct, that we're not the only ones having this problem. It's stupid as hell for us to have to call in to Intuit for every little thing that we discover wrong with the program. Why not have a portal or some kind of live chat we're we can upload screenshots & explain what's going on instead of talking to someone in God knows where that doesn't have a clue what is going on with the program. You've already taken away being able to email problems to Intuit & hopefully get it in the works, so let's just see what else you can take away from us. Next thing you know we'll have to start fixing the program ourselves & there won't even be a tech support line. If all it takes is flipping thru a book & forming a hypothesis as to what is going on, I might as well download a book on EasyAcct & setup a tech support line & just start taking calls myself. Sorry I didn't mean to get on a rant...it's just a bunch of BS! So yes nickeypoo72 the 2025 program is full of bugs & nobody has a clue on how to fix them. Let's just hope we can get something fixed by the end of the year & get some kind of relief for Jan 1....if not W-2s & 1099s are going to be a nightmare and don't even get me started on the new BBB. If Intuit couldn't exempt the overtime for Alabama for half the year this year, I hate to see what's going to happen with implementing the new federal overtime law.
