ProSeries has simplified the process of attaching PDFs to a return and selecting federal and states products for e-file. In addition, ProSeries has increased security by masking sensitive information in your client’s tax returns. See below for more information on the new features. PDF Attachments There are two new ways to attach a PDF file in business products: #1: Directly from the field requiring a PDF be attached: Right click on the desired field that contains the PDF attachment alert. In the pop-up menu, select “Attach PDF File to Field …” From file selection screen, select “Add Attachment” and use the browse button to locate the PDF. Assign PDF field in the “Type” field. Select “OK” to attach PDFs to the return. #2: Using the File Menu: From the “E-File” menu, select “Attach PDF File to Field…” From file selection screen, select “Add Attachment” and use the browse button to locate the PDF. Assign PDF field in the “Type” field. Select “OK” to attach PDFs to the return.
