Lacerte® Team Receives Warm Welcome From Many Loyal Customers

From Nov. 10 through Dec. 9, 2016, two teams of Intuit® ProConnect™ Lacerte® instructors visited and trained more than 1,900 loyal customers in 15 cities across the country in California, Maryland, New York, Illinois, Nevada, Colorado, Arizona and Texas.

The goals of the multi-city tour were to provide customers with product training, thought leadership, the current and future state of the tax preparation industry, and vital face-to-face connections with each other and Lacerte leaders. The full-day agenda covered security updates; tax law changes; what’s new in products; office workflow, including Intuit Link and eSignature; top productivity features; the future vision of tax preparation, including our cloud-based offerings: QuickBooks® Online and ProConnect Tax Online; and customer roundtables with product developers.

In addition to program manager Jasen Stine, the trainers included David Bergstein, Jim Buffington, David Evans, Tony Hunt, Kevin Reinard and myself.

Key Takeaways from Tour

Our customers provided flattering feedback about the tour, with more than 88 percent saying they would recommend the program to a peer or colleague. In addition to telling us they were happy to see us face-to-face, other elements of the tour that customers enjoyed included presenters and content, security updates, what’s new and productivity tools, future vision, free continuing education credit, and a full-day of training to build relationships and have dialog. The trainers, in turn, enjoyed hearing feedback about how the material relates to practitioners and interacting with the customer base.
