For this year’s results, the Korn Ferry Hay Group, a global management consulting firm, started with around 1,500 companies, comprised of Fortune’s 1,000 (the largest 1,000 income companies) and Fortune’s Global 500 database (non-U.S. companies making $10 billion or more). After choosing the 15 largest companies for each international industry and the 10 largest for each U.S. industry, the group surveyed 652 companies from 30 countries. Executives, directors and analysts were asked to rate their own industry using nine benchmarks, ranging from investment value to social responsibility. Ultimately, the group deems the list to be “definitive report card on corporate reputations.” Intuit is honored to be a part of the list with so many great companies from all over the world.
