We aim to serve you from the moment you consider our software—that’s where our experienced new customer consultants come in. With more than 120 years of combined experience serving tax professionals, our customer consultants have deep knowledge of best practices and trends within the tax profession, and serve as advisors who can help potential new customers optimize their time, improve their service offerings, and grow their business. In this blog series, we are spotlighting each of our new customer consultants. In this post, meet Drew Hickman. Drew is based in Plano, Texas, and when he’s not working, you can find him spending time with his friends and family, doing CrossFit, and playing golf. In fact, he’s even hit a hole-in-one playing golf, an amazing accomplishment from 125 yards out on a par 3! What Drew loves most about being a part of Intuit is that the job provides him an opportunity to provide the right tools to help others improve and grow their businesses. When it comes to working with tax firms, Drew’s approach is not just about selling a product, but about understanding the needs of the business, and providing knowledge and advice to help them improve their services. Drew said, “The most important part of my job is to first meet my customers at their current state, learn about their business and services, and together develop a picture of where they want their business to be 3-5 years from now.” Drew recognizes that accounting and tax compliance work is only part of the bigger picture for tax professionals. He wants to help them find the best tools and workflows available, so that they can streamline their work and increase their efficiency. “This will allow them to have the time and resources needed to offer other services such as tax planning and advisory, in order to ultimately increase revenue while building a better brand for themselves,” said Drew. Drew has a reputation for helping customers see the bigger picture and long-term goals. He is dedicated to helping tax firms think creatively, find areas where they can optimize their business processes, and ultimately grow their firms. Our team of consultants is here to help you succeed and thrive. If you’d like to speak with one of our new customer consultants, please call 888-869-5812.
