We aim to serve you from the moment you consider our software—that’s where our experienced new customer consultants come in. With more than 120 years of combined experience serving tax professionals, our customer consultants have deep knowledge of best practices and trends within the tax profession, and serve as advisors who can help potential new customers optimize their time, improve their service offerings, and grow their business. In this blog series, we are spotlighting each of our new customer consultants. In this post, we’re featuring Corey Spear. Corey lives in Dallas, Texas. When he’s not working, he loves to cook with bacon, and is even writing a cookbook featuring some of his best pork belly recipes. He’s also very creative—one of his current hobbies is creating blown glass. Before Corey started working at Intuit, he installed printing presses. He’s been at Intuit for an impressive 23 years, and said “Intuit as a company is a place I call home because you are treated like family.” Corey says his favorite thing about serving tax professionals is that each customer and conversation is unique. “How I help customers is to paint a picture of how you can do a lot more with less.” he said. “For example, Intuit integrates tools that can aid you with all of the services you offer. You can have QuickBooks® Online Accountant build your business return in Intuit ProConnect™ Tax; have the K-1 info import into the 1040; use the Link portal and import source docs into the return; file those returns, and then have the data flow to the integrated advisory tool to do your strategies and planning. Everything is billed through QuickBooks Online. Basically, books, tax, advisory, and invoicing tools all communicate together.” We hope you enjoyed getting to know Corey. Our team of consultants is here to help you succeed and thrive. If you’d like to speak with one of our new customer consultants, please call 888-869-5812.
