Recently, ProFinder teamed up again to reveal more data-driven intel about the modern day freelancer* – trends among their educational backgrounds, career motivations, job satisfaction and more. ProFinder discovered five unique professional personas – each of which embodies specific motivators, as well as attitudes toward work and job security. This is about the world of giggers, self-employed professionals you may have as clients. Whether you have clients who are thinking of taking the plunge into freelancing or you are just curious about this workplace trend, these numbers tell it all. As you can see, there are various reasons why more professionals are opting into part-time or full-time freelancing. Their motivation for opting out of the traditional workplace correlates with how satisfied they are with gig work, as well as their outlook for the future.
