Using Batch Extensions in ProConnect Tax
by Intuit•2• Updated 3 weeks ago
Batch Actions is a new feature in ProConnect Tax that can be used to file up to 50 returns for extensions at one time.
You can access the Batch Actions drop-down in the top-right corner of the screen and under the Filing section of the drop-down menu, you'll see options including Batch Extension Filing, and Batch Extension History.
Batch Extension Filing
709 gift returns, as well as locked and restricted returns, are unavailable for batch filing.
- Select Batch Extention Filing from the Batch actions menu.
- You'll see a list of eligible returns available for filing. Check all the returns you want to file in this batch and select Continue.
- If any of the returns you've selected still have any uncleared diagnostics, they will be excluded and you'll see a message letting you know.
- The remaining selections can still be batch e-filed.
- Review your selection of eligible returns, and then select E-File.
Batch filing history
This screen can be accessed once batch extensions have been filed.
On the Batch filing history screen, you can find out the status of your regular returns and your extentions. Use the tabs at the top of the screen to select your desired view, and you can find the status under the Transmission Status column.
