ProConnect Tax refund and cancelation policy and request form

For tax year 2024 purchases:
- All ProConnect Tax returns purchased are for use during the calendar year 2025 and can be used for any tax return supported by ProConnect Tax.
- Individual and business returns and can only be used for the designated return type. All ProConnect Tax returns may be purchased individually or in volume tiers (Tax Return Banks).
- Tax returns are purchased for the twelve consecutive months beginning January 1 through December 31 (Tax Year or TY), and accessible for use for such specific Tax Year.
- Any unused tax returns purchased for a specifc Tax Year will be accessible for up to 3 years, but only for the Tax Year for which they were purchased.
- Intuit has no obligation to refund all or part of the purchase price for prior purchases of ProConnect Tax or unused returns.
- ProConnect Tax returns are credited to the Customer Account Number that purchased them and cannot be transferred to other Intuit accounts.

Refunds and cancellations:
Refund policy: For new ProConnect Tax customers only, cancelation or refund must be requested within 30 days of the product release date which is typically in November. Customers who renew early may cancel their order for a full refund before the product release date. Customers who renew after the product release date have 5 business days from order placement to request a refund. Refunds apply only to unused returns that have not been filed.

Pricing:
Prices are determined according to the quantity of returns selected at time of purchase. The price for your use of the Tax Online Service is established at the time you pay for returns. Your price will not change once you pay for your returns.
All ProConnect Tax returns purchased are Tax Year specific. Returns purchased but not used will not rollover to the next tax year, however they can still be used for the Tax Year for which they were purchased.
To submit a refund or cancelation request:
ProConnect Tax's return policy is part of the license agreement that you agree to each time you sign in. See here for complete information.
You will first need to make note of your Customer Account Number and Realm ID in the program.
To find these credentials in ProConnect Tax:
- Select in the lower-left corner of the program.
- On the screen that pops up, under Your Firm, select About Your ProConnect Tax.
- Here you will find certain account credentials, including your Customer Account Number and Realm ID.
From there, fill out a refund request below. Enter all of the required information and then click Submit.
