How to generate Form 8857 in Lacerte

This article will show you how to generate Form 8857, Request for Innocent Spouse Relief, in the Individual module of Lacerte.

To generate Form 8857 in the program:

1. Go to Screen 76, Innocent Spouse Relief (8857).
2. Locate the Part 1 section.
3. Mark the checkbox labeled Print Form 8857 with complete return.
4. Enter a 1 in the Should file Form 8857: 1=yes, 2=no.
