Below are solutions to frequently asked questions about Schedules H and I for the Benefit Plan module of Lacerte.
How do I generate Schedule H or Schedule I in Lacerte?
Follow these steps to generate either form in the program:
- Go to Screen 3, Miscellaneous Information.
- Scroll down to the Schedule Overrides section.
- Enter a 1, 2, or 3 in the Schedule H and I: 1= force Sch. H, 2=force Sch. I, 3= suppress Schedules H and I field.
How does Lacerte generate Schedule H or Schedule I?
The program determines which Schedule to generate based on:
- The form instructions, and
- The entries for the plan
