Selecting general printing options in ProSeries Basic

Before you start:

This document pertains to General Printing Options in ProSeries Basic. 

Follow these steps to select print options in ProSeries Basic:

  1. Open up a client return.
  2. From the File menu, select Print.
  3. Select the Print Setup Options tab. You'll notice the following options:
    • Printer: Select your printer for the list of available printers.
    • Page Order: Select either First to Last or Last to First based on your printer's output (face-up or face-down).
    • Print Test Page: Select this option to print a test page with technical information about your printer.
  1. Open the client return.
  2. Click the Print button from the left navigation panel.
    • The print screen can also be accessed by clicking Print in the File menu.
  3. Select the tab for the copy of the return you'll be printing (Filing CopyClient Copy or Preparer Copy).
  4. Check the box for Miscellaneous Information.
  5. Check the box for the Filing Instructions and/or Client Invoice.
  6. Print the return.
