Entering your ERO Practitioner PIN in ProSeries

This article will help you if:

• you have a new preparer in the firm
• you are new to ProSeries
• you are receiving the error: Paid Preparer Information: Preparer/ERO Pin for E-File must be entered to use the Self Select PIN for Electronic Filing

To enter your ERO Practitioner Pin:

1. From the Tools menu, select Options.
2. From the left side of the screen select Firm/Preparer Info.
3. In the Preparer / Electronic Return Originator (ERO) Information you'll see the ERO Practitioner PIN.
4. Enter any 5 digits of your choice to act as your electronic signature.
5. Click OK
