Printing the K-1 Package in Lacerte

How do I print the Schedule K-1, K-1 slip sheet, and K-1 letter for each partner, shareholder, or beneficiary?
The Schedule K-1, K-1 slip sheet, and K-1 letter can be printed for each partner, shareholder, or beneficiary separately from the return.
Solution #1 - To set a global option for printing Schedule K-1:
- Select Settings.
- Select Options.
- Select the Items to Print tab.
- Locate the Copy section from the top left navigation panel.
- Select Addtl K-1 Package.
- Check all applicable boxes.
- Select OK to save changes.
- Select the Clients tab (to view the list of your clients).
- Highlight the returns you want to print.
- Select Print.
- Select Tax Return.
- Locate the Return section.
- Select K-1 package only.
- Select the applicable print to option under the Return Options section.
- Printer
- File (PDF)
- Email (PDF)
- DMS (if applicable)
- Enter the number of Copies to print.
- Select OK.

Solution #2- For a one time print of the Schedule K-1 for specific partners, shareholders, or beneficiaries:
- Select the Clients tab (to view the list of your clients).
- Highlight the returns you want to print.
- Select Print.
- Select Tax Return.
- Locate the Return section.
- Select Partial Return.
- Select the Sch K-1 folder.
- Select the applicable print to option under the Return Options section.
- Printer
- File (PDF)
- Email (PDF)
- DMS (if applicable
- Enter the number of Copies to print.
- Select OK

Troubleshoot K-1 package delivery issues
If the K-1 package fails to send, follow these steps:
- Try printing the K-1 package to PDF. If the PDF generates successfully, the issue is likely with the delivery method (email or printer) rather than the return data.
- If the PDF fails to generate, run a PDF repair:
- Close Lacerte.
- Open the Windows search bar and type Lacerte PDF Repair.
- Run the Lacerte PDF Repair utility.
- Once the repair is complete, reopen Lacerte and try printing the K-1 package again.
