The state of Arkansas makes a distinction between Married Filing Joint vs "Married Filing Separate on the same return". Fed selection for MFJ on Screen 1 will default to "MFS on the same return" for AR. To get the AR Form to report as Married Filling Jointly like the fed version, an additional input is required on screen 3 Miscellaneous Info.Go to screen 3 under Arkansas Miscellaneous and Enter '2'=joint.
