Transferring information from ProSeries Fixed Asset Manager to QuickBooks Fixed Asset Manager

This article will help you with transferring information from ProSeries Fixed Asset Manager to QuickBooks Fixed Asset Manager.
Both programs must be installed on the same computer.
Follow these steps to transfer information from ProSeries Fixed Asset Manager:
- From the QuickBooks Accountant menu, choose Manage Fixed Assets.
- If this is the first time you've opened the Fixed Asset Manager, select Transfer a prior year Fixed Asset Manager client, and then click OK.
- Click Next to get your list of prior-year client files from ProSeries Fixed Asset Manager.
- If the clients aren't listed, click Browse to locate the files.
- Click Next to continue.
- The next screen is used to update to the current year and to recalculate assets. We recommend that you leave these at the defaults.
- Click Next to continue.
- The next two screens are Asset Synchronization Options - From QuickBooks. We recommend that you leave these at the defaults.
- Click Next to continue.
- The final screen is the Transfer - Summary.
- Click Finish to complete the transfer.
