View or print the Pay-Per-Return audit report in ProSeries

The audit report shows you the current status of your PPR (Pay-Per-Return) account on the current computer only.

To access the audit report:
- Open ProSeries to the HomeBase.
- From the Tools menu, select Pay-Per-Return.
- Select View audit report to show activity for the current tax year.
- Select Print to print the audit report.
- Select Close.
The report lists the following information:
Type | The activity that occurred either Purchase or Charge. |
File | The name of the client file or the type of transaction, such as PURCHASE. |
Name | The name of the client file or the type of transaction, such as PURCHASE. |
ID | The last 4 digits of the tax ID number. |
Program | The type of return, such as Form 1040, Form 1120, Form 1120S, and so on. |
Date | The date on which you prepared the return or the transaction occurred. For example, the date you increased your account balance on this machine. |
Time | The time the transaction was posted. |
Amount | The amount of the transaction, which can be a credit or a debit. A credit is shown with out parenthesis as in the $100 increase outlined in blue. Debits are shown in parenthesis as in the $14 debit outlined in red. |
Balance | Your current Pay-Per-Return account balance. |
