How to generate an individual Schedule C in ProConnect Tax

Follow these steps to complete a Schedule C for a 1040 return:

  1. Go to the Input Return tab.
  2. Select Income then Business Income (Sch C) from the left menu.
  3. Complete the information about the business in the Business Income (Schedule C) section.
  4. Scroll to General Information and complete any applicable information.
  5. Continue to the Other Information section and complete any information that applies.
  6. Go to the Income Statement tab, and in the Income section, enter the:
    • Gross receipts or sales
    • Returns and allowances
    • Other income, if applicable
  7. Scroll to the Cost of Goods Sold section, and complete any applicable information.
  8. Go to the Expenses and enter expenses for this business.
