Resolving the E-File error in ProSeries: Unable to Create a Transmission Wrapper for the Selected Return(s)

This article will help you resolve error Code 117, 155, 119, 113, 10250, or 25743 - "ProSeries was unable to create a transmission wrapper for the selected return(s)." when attempting to e-file in ProSeries.
There are a few different causes to this error.
Solution 1:
- Open the clients return and go to the appropriate federal or state return.
- Press F9 to recalculate then F10 to save the return.
- Try to e-file the return again.
- If you receive the same error continue to Solution 2.
Solution 2:
- Open the client return.
- From the File menu, select Save As.
- Enter a new File name that you can recognize as being a copy of this return and select Save.
- Try to e-file the copy of the return again.
- If you receive the same error continue to Solution 3.
Solution 3:
- Open the copy of the client file.
- Remove all attached state returns and re-attach them, see Adding and removing state/city returns in ProSeries for more information.
- Review the state returns for any state specific adjustments.
- Try to e-file the copy of the return again.
- If you still can't e-file, uninstall the state product, see Uninstalling a federal or state product in ProSeries
- Try to e-file the return again.
