Can I Use a Network Attached Storage (NAS) Drive with Lacerte?

Can I install the network version of Lacerte to a NAS drive?

Lacerte, and Document Management System (DMS) do not support using a Network Attached Storage device as the server.   In testing, we have found that NAS drives do not provide adequate performance.

In addition, because most NAS devices use a Unix-like operating system (OS) and not do not use a Windows-based OS, installing and using Lacerte,  or DMS on a NAS drive may result in unpredictable program behavior.
