A super huge time saver would be if we could import a prior year return from PDF (which are always on standard IRS forms) and import baseline data like: name, address, id numbers, and information forms like the 2-year comparison, PY AGI, etc. This would decrease onboarding of new clients by a minimum of 30 min.

I do not think the IRS income documents are open for importing.

This idea was to be able to populate baseline data and possibly the Prior Year Summary report that is a noncalculating, nonreporting report in the tax software. It was not to import information that is included in the filing like actual tax numbers.
