This does not effect the return but does effect the way that it shows on the grantor letter. If a passthough has information to be entered in the 199A section of the passthrough input screen and has both ordianry income and rental real estate income/loss it will combine them on the grantor letter but if they only have one or the other it will display in the correct column. For display purposes it would be good if the income/loss shows on the Grantor Letter the same way it was entered in the input screen.
