Prosieres has a prompt to ask about digital asset transactions. It would be helpfully to have a similar question " Does anyone have an IP Pin number from the IRS?" That may remind taxpayer who do have an IP Pin but forgot to mention it to the preparer.
Since the prompt would be in the software, that isn't really going to be a reminder to the taxpayer. If it is something that you encounter often, a post-it pad note on your computer screen could serve the same purpose.
