If there is a number on line 1 - Gross Distribution, about 99.9% of the time the distributions were used for qualified medical expenses.
Yet if you do notcheck the block that "Full amount in box 1 was used to pay qualified medical expenses, your tax program will ADD box 1 to income. Not good !!!
Recommendation: During final review, add a warning that there is a number in box 1, but no block has been checked.
