We are being forced to change our passwords periodically. I understand the need for that. However, because of the need for complex passwords, we are forced to either tape our password to our monitor or save it in a text file on desktop. Kind of defeats the purpose, right?
If the program could "shake hands" with password manager programs such as Norton, it would make our lives so much easier and our programs so much more secure.
Sadly, there is no consistency between all the different password managers. We use lastpass and it works pretty well with the Intuit logins. When i change an Intuit password, i get the opportunity to update across on the Intuit logins and can share with other staff members if i choose.
The whole software industry is out of control…. Seems like 1/2 my day is spent updating, logging in, and dealing with multi factor authentication
