The software is creating an error onForm 5471, Schedule E-1, column (e) Line 6. The error states that this specific line item should tie to Schedule E, Part 1, Section 1, Line 6, Column (m).
However the instructions to Form 5471, Schedule E-1, column e, Line 6 and the actual Form 5471 itself states that Line 6 should equal to Schedule E, Part 1, Section 2, Line 5, Column (i).
I also would like to add that we do not have any information onSchedule E, Part 1, Section 2, Line 5, Column (i), as this section does not apply to them (so amount is $0), however the software is not allowing us to proceed with e-filing without inputting the amount the error window references, Schedule E, Part 1, Section 1, Line 6, Column (m). This amount is not correct, additionally because the amount it references is in functional currency and on the instructions to Schedule E-1 it states to enter amounts in US dollars.
