This year, I am getting an error message: Not eligible for efile, Simplified AMT foreign tax credit limitation - Can this be fixed to once again allow eFile? It was allowed previously.
Don't elect the simplified method, if this is the first time TP is claiming the FTC. After all, the software will calculate the AMT credit.
