I've asked in prior years and been told it can't be changed. Super annoying.  This is the workaround we did: an admin logs into https://apps.rightworks.com/login and looks up each user's # (you can see it by hovering over their name for the web address their name links to). Then make a list to distribute to the team. Each user just keeps the list handy.

Also, we drill into our team to exit a return if you step away for lunch/meeting/break/whatever. Even further, we tell them to exit Lacerte and log out of RW. One season there were just a lot of updates that couldn't wait until end of day and needed to be rolled out asap. We make it explicit that we'd rather deal with the inefficiencies of them logging in again than the inefficiencies of making the team stuck for updates.
