Both ProSeries and ProConnect can import 1099-Bs (although I don't do it because it is quicker to manually do it).

If all transactions are "covered" (and no wash sales), ProSeries only requires two entries for short-term and two entries for long-term.

If things are not fully covered, just enter a summary and attach a PDF of the 1099-B.

At least for 1099-B's, I don't see how ProConnect could be any faster than ProSeries.

 

On another note, if you want to change software, why are you looking at ProConnect rather than some other software?
