Update:

The attorney trustee didn't want to release the information to the bookkeeper because she doesn't want her to be bookkeeper and he didn't want to tell her.

He gave me all the accounting information and bank statements I need. I didn't hear anything indicating that he is hiding anything.

Much ado about nothing.
