What software are you using? You posted this in "Tax Talk" instead of a software specific section, so not sure how to direct or help you.

I use Lacerte and am not having trouble with 4547 population. It just links almost all the info from the Client & Dependent screens and I pretty much only need to input County and the relationship to taxpayer.
