Flex those boundaries!
Price out your costs for a NON-complicated / jerry-rigged workflow of software (i.e., don't go cheap to save money but increase headaches) and other costs. Put in a profit margin of your choice, divide by ten, and tell your family members NOW that THIS is what it costs per return since you don't have other clients to spread this over anymore.
They have two choices: take it or leave it. They need to tell you by ____ (date, I recommend 12/1, so you know whether or not to renew your PTIN, but ymmv), otherwise you'll presume they are going elsewhere. Late fee of $___ applies if they come crawling back after that date.
