You need Enterprise if they were using Enterprise. You need Premier otherwise, and the Accountant Edition can open any file other than Enterprise. You would want the year they used or not more than 2 newer, since those would update the file and more than a 2 year leap is a pain.

I don't use Team Viewer. I use the built in Windows 11 Quick Assist. I use it with my 89-year old mother, and it's very simple. As host, you will need a MS or other login, my old Skype general "client" access was working, but I don't know if it still works now that they killed Skype.

You both do this: Hold down the Windows key and the Control key at the same time. Poke the Q.

You get a code, read it off to them. They enter the code. They get a pop up asking for their permission to share. You connect. You request mouse control when you need that.
