Ok, I have gone back and re-entered all my sales in the sales journal, for the entire year of 2025 for most of my clients, and I have been working in both years 2025 and 2026, so I close and reopen, BUT NOW everything I put in 2025 is GONE AGAIN in the sales journal.  Why, if what I read, we have to re-enter, nothing about it being deleted again, how many times am I going to have to do this, I am still working in both years, cuz I need to get my clients their yearend reports to get their taxes done, but at this point, I am so tired and do not understand why the sales journal is not keeping the data.  Does anyone have an answer for me to understand and not go totally nuts..  OR once I put sale journal items in 2025 I can not go back to 2025, if I happen to go into 2026 to do business, payroll, write checks, etc, my job.
