Hi @nickdrake Thanks for sharing about the program now zeroing out the MTD & QTD columns on the payroll journal. We appreciate you taking the time to post here and share a screenshot. Development is aware and is working on a resolution for this. We will update the Community when we have one on a new release post. Thanks again for the patience and calling out what the concerns.

Is anyone addressing the fact that the Data transfer to/from function does not work. I tried to load a payroll transfer from my accountant and it only transfers parts of it. This has been going on since October!!

@ Kathi_at_Intuit I have 2 bank accounts on my EasyAcct. When I change to the 2nd account, it prints a check with the primary acct name, bank routing #, & acct #.
Third problem- working on the bank statements in Easyacct. When I go to reconcile the month, I get this error. Error while performing the operation Bad file name or number, When I click ok, it just shuts down the program. I did an update, same deal. I noticed that the last date in the recon was 5/31/25-6/30/25 I wouldn't use 5/31/25, I would have used 6/1/25.... but, I did try 6/30/25-7/31/25. same deal. Slammed it shut. What are peeps gonna do to get their taxes done?!? I viewed the last recon- the current transactions show 5/1/25-5/31/25. The previous outstanding transactions show 5/24/25-6/30/25. The recon that I was working on would be 7/1/25-7/31/25. I had finished May & June months ago!!

I have the same issue and uploaded a file on December 31. At that time I was told that issues were usually resolved within 24 hours, but would take longer due to the holiday. I have not been contacted since then and am also continuing to use last years' program. I am lucky that I had backups prior to conversion and am able to use last years' program. I did copy the 2026 payroll tax tables from the 2025-2026 software and pasted it into the 2024-2025 version. That has at least kept me in business so far.

I've had my accounts receivable deleted back to Dec 15, 4x now. And when I reenter them it randomly posts to different clients.

A new program breaking issue: If a client has not opened payroll in 2026 yet and has not been opened in several prior updates, it is transferring 2024 payroll into 2025, and 2025 payroll into 2026.

Susan Hightower - are you running 2026 entries in the 2025 program? Is that working? I'm afraid to do anything. What is happening to people is catastrophic.

I haven't closed my payroll, A/R, or A/P for 2025 because I have been waiting for them to fix the A/R GL distribution problems. The techs that have worked with me have encouraged me to wait to close out. So if there are that many problems with payroll since I haven't closed yet, than I'm screwed!!! I have yet to download the last two updates because they don't appear to help with my issues! I'm just sorry that I ever downloaded the 2025/26 version of this software!!!!
