Can you confirm if you received a confirmation email from EasyAcct, not just filed and pending? Thank you.

I have filed two separate 941s and 940s but have received no acceptance confirmations yet. Fingers crossed......
I have also submitted a 941 and 940 using QB desktop, and have also not received the acceptance confirmations. IRS could be slow in processing these. They usually are in the beginning.

If that's the case. I suggest not risk to e-file it. Instead, do a physical paper file. Processed with no problem doesn't mean successfully transmitted to and accepted by IRS. If there is an issue, IRS will not listen to this sort of reasons like the software said it is successful.
I believe the 940/941 you e-filed is still showing pending in EasyACCT. Before this terrible 25/26, 940/941 e-filing normally receives success confirmation within 15 minutes, either by email or showing so in EasyACCT, not just pending.

Has anyone received an email from easyacct rejecting 940 efile due to "invalid format of banking information" when no tax is due for with the return?

All the 940's are being rejected due to banking information format being wrong. EasyAcct needs to come out with an update FAST!!!

we are having the same rejection message for all our 940 returns: 940's are being rejected due to banking information format being wrong,
and since 7 days all 941s were filed and no IRS Acceptance is received.
Hello Easy Acct,
we are really stressed out this year, we are having a lot of bugs also in reporting and data showing in 2026
and missing information in the Sales Journals.
also very slow posting in the Accounts receivable, and when generating Transaction Journal.
we are addressing these issues to be resolved ASAP.
Thanks

You need to update and you will be able to file them, but they will get rejected until there is another update available.

Hello! At this time, Form 940 can’t be e-filed in EasyACCT. The Error 54 message indicates that e-file for 940s is not yet open for the program, and there’s no action needed regarding banking information. We understand this creates additional challenges, especially during a busy filing period. An update will be released for EasyACCT once 940 e-filing becomes available in the program, at which point the form can be resubmitted. The community will be updated as soon as that update is available.

Not yet. Fingers crossed. I just filed 20+ of them, so I'm hoping this is all good. Still have several to go.
