I think I am using a different intuit software. I apologize. I googled my issue and it got me to this same issue and I had to log in to intuit so I proceeded. I am using intuit quickbooks which is not Easy ACCT

On Quickbooks you go to the payroll tax page look and there is a option on the middle right page there is a folder titled Archive. That is where I found it.

I am unfamiliar with EasyACCT so I can not advise, again I apologize for being misleading. I did not realize I was.

Oh line it says incase this is helpful

To access archived files in EasyACCT, you need to navigate to the designated data directory within your EasyACCT installation, as archived data is typically stored in a dedicated folder within this location; you may need to access your system settings to find the exact path, usually located within the "System Characteristics" option within the program itself.

Key points to remember:
  • Data location:
EasyACCT stores data in a specific folder on your computer, which you can access through the program settings.

  • Accessing settings:
Open EasyACCT, go to "System" then "System Utilities" and select "System Characteristics" to view the data path.

  • Backup files:
Archived data is usually found in a folder related to backups within the data directory.

How to access archived files:
  1. 1. Open EasyACCT:
    Launch the EasyACCT program.

  2. 2. Access system settings:
Navigate to "System" then "System Utilities" and select "System Characteristics".

  3. 3. Locate data path:
In the "Path for Company Data" field, you will see the directory where your EasyACCT data is stored.

  4. 4. Navigate to backup folder:
Within the data directory, look for a folder specifically related to backups or archives to find your archived files.

Important considerations:
  • Backup routine:
Regularly backing up your EasyACCT data is crucial to access archived information if needed.

  • Data retention:
EasyACCT may only retain a limited amount of historical data, so older transactions might be archived and not readily accessible within the program.
