Thanks! That's odd. I chatted with someone that said it was OK but now I'm definitely going to check again.

Chromebook is sort of a generic term for a COMPUTER that operates via Chrome? What processor will your Chromebook have?
Does the Chromebook meet those requirements in the link?
Personally, I still want a PC because of additional tax software that I run.

Good point. Thanks. I have an ASUS Chromebook Flip with an intel core m3 processor so I should be fine. I'm going to try a few practice returns before I make a decision on purchasing. If you don't mind me asking what other software do you use that requires Windows?

I also use Tax Tools https://www.taxtools.com/products_tt.aspx and an add on to Lacerte or ProSeries for maintaining source documents and copies of returns known as DMS.
I am really old school with computers predating Windows and even DOS. I learned FORTRAN on a mainframe with punch cards and my first Lacerte program was run on a KayPro 10, which I still have. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kaypro
I believe the biggest screen you can get is a real plus to using PTO, regardless of the type of computer you use. Navigation is (in my mind) quite difficult.
