What title do you use for an LLC sole member, fling as an S-Corp, per Form 2553
The prior preparer used Managing Member, so i want to be consistent, but does it really matter?

I don't understand your follow up question. Did you click the link I provided to see the selections to choose from? It has a Picture:
You select what applies. Corporations do not have Members or Owners. They have shareholders, officers, and/or the people get titles, such as President and CEO and Treasurer.
"The prior preparer used Managing Member"
Which would apply for a multi-member partnership, 1065.
