I e-filed the federal return and am trying to e-file the state return on a different date. The federal return has already been accepted. In the Profile of my client it will not allow me to check the box to efile the state return. How do I e-file the state return in this case?
The response from KC_taxman is correct. From inside the return, click the "Return Actions" button and choose "Unlock Return". To protect returns from changing after e-file, ProConnect automatically locks all returns when you e-file.
