I am new to Proconnect and learned that only 1040s convert from my old software, so I have a few entity returns that still need to be brought over.  If I create a client and input the return as filed, will that information proforma to next year, or does it have to be a return filed in PTO?

Hi, it would have to be a return filed within ProConnect to ProForma.  However, what you can do, is create the client and a 2025 return for that client.  You can then go to the 'Prior Year Summary' screen and enter the totals from the prior year return.  This will allow ProConnect to pull the prior year information as it would if it had ProForma'd to show historical information on the worksheets.  For most of the modules that screen will be under Input Return --> Other --> Prior Year Summary as shown in the attached screenshot for the Partnership (1065) module.  If you need further assistance, please feel free to call our support line and we will be happy to assist you with locating the appropriate data entry fields that you need.
