My client has a few relatively small short term capital gains transaction reported properly on the 1099-B for which basis has been reported to the IRS. I have entered the 1099-B in the Schedule D Quick Entry Form, reviewed the details for any additional information to enter. I can't find any error in my entry but the transactions aren't populating to Schedule D Line 1. Could I be missing something obvious? I have pulled down the instructions to entering 1099-B and can not find a missed step. Any ideas?

Where are they showing up?
The more I know the more I don’t know.

the entered data is not showing anywhere. When I "Review Return" the Schedule D line 1a is blank. Line 1b is also blank. It's as if the Quick Entry Screen is "disconnected". I have trashed the Quick Entry and re-entered. No relief.

I read you saying that all sales are short term and all sales have basis reported to IRS. I would input as a single line:
Notice the use of the minus sign. IF this really were to print somewhere (which it won't in this example) it would show VARIOUS. The result of this input would be this Schedule 😧

thank you, that is how I entered it. I put it aside last night, I must have an errant keystroke somewhere. I will be deleting the Quick Entry trying to get a clean start. (including the negative dates).
