Hello Community!
My client is in the uniformed services originally from Oregon and plans to go back to Oregon after his assignment is over.
He is currently living in Maryland but states that Oregon is his State of Permanent Residence. Oregon does not require income taxes for Residents who live outside of Oregon for service.
Is it okay to do non resident income tax return for Oregon and Maryland ( for his business income)?

You mention business income. Is this in addition to military income?

i did see that link.
I just wasn't sure if it is okay to complete nonresident state returns for more than one state.
Oregon- Nonresident
Maryland - Non resident- claim the business income on this return
Is this okay to do?
