I have recently gotten ProConnect, I am trying to review a simple sample return, (that the software created), the return states there are errors that affect the ability to eFile, for example the PTIN is missing. I do not have a PTIN, I thought this was a "practice space" and is strictly for learning. I am not sure what to do, any suggestions will be greatly appreciated! Thanks

I guess the learning process was successful if you learned you need a PTIN to e-file. But if you aren’t going to actually e-file the return, why are you concerned about the error message?

There are lots of diagnostic messages. Many can be ignored, others you must attend to in order to successfully e-file a tax return. Unlike TurboTax, you must have an EFIN and a PTIN to e-file. Without those you must print the return to PDF then print that PDF to paper and then find postage and an envelope to mail the return.
Answers are easy. Questions are hard!

Because this is for PRACTICE, and learning how to deal with the error is best while in PRACTICE mode, rather than with a real tax return.

To add to my previous response... the best action is to do as much as possible while in practice mode, that way fewer surprises while dealing with clients.
