How do I get the program to select yes for the Box A question. On the K-1 worksheet I have indicated that several shareholders have made the election but Box A remains at no.

Not sure about Arizona but Pennsylvania has questions on c corporate rct101 return that may have to be overridden. Intuit places more emphasis on the federal module than the states so you may have to directly override it.

1. Go to State & Local > Miscellaneous > AZ Miscellaneous;
2. Scroll down to the Arizona PTE taxes section; and
3. Check that the box for Electing PTE taxes is checked.
The default for shareholders is not to opt out. If any shareholder is to opt out, you'd check the box for Shareholder is opting out of the PTE election (if made) under the Arizona PTE taxes section under State & Local > Schedule K-1 > AZ Schedule K-1 Overrides.
The entries and computations on 120S will be updated automatically based on the above.

I'm having the same problem, but I'm not sure where to be to do step one in your answer. Where should I be in order to do step #1? Do I need to be in the federal info worksheet area, state info worksheet area, file, Chrome, etc.? Thanks!
