It would be VERY helpful if during the importing of a 1098 mortgage statement Inuit would pick up the name of the bank instead of saying personal residence. It helps in review, it helps in looking back year over year and it helps when a taxpayer has more than one mortgage interest statement

Yes, you can type in the name of the Bank, but why can't Intuit import it for us? The whole point of importing is to save us time right?
They import employer names. retirement info etc....

this software gives such little detail when they could be providing more. It falls so short in being a reliable robust software that aids the preparer for checking complex returns.
I don't understand why more people are not complaining. They must have learned it doesn't matter
