I'm preparing a very simple 1065 return. There is no income, and the only deduction is Deductions Portfolio Other (Box 13 code L) I should also have the same amount as Box 20 code B, but I'm getting code AJ in Box 20. I've prepared this return the same way for several years and have never had this problem before. How do I remove code AJ from the box 20s on all the K-1's?

Don't know if it's your problem, but I do know the codes changed this year.

Thanks - I do know that AJ is a new code, but it isn't correct in this situation. I might have to try to call Intuit, but I'm hoping there is a way to remove a code without getting on the phone.

Like Anna said the codes did change. There are pages and pages of codes. I just did my first partnership today and it took me awhile. I also had an issue with code. Had to research different tax reference Publications as well as the instructions. How about a code for a joke, because that's what it's getting to become.🐕☝
