I have a client that did not request an Ip Pin and the program is asking for the pin.  Any suggestions?

Your client will more than likely have to create an IRS id.me account.  If either of you go to irs.gov and search IPPIN, the site will direct you to creating the account to obtain the PIN.  You will not be able to efile the return without it.

Best to create the account on phone as copy of back/front of driver license is required as well as a selfie.

None of my clients with IP PINs requested them.  They just appeared magically, spawned by the IRS computer.
