I have a few multi-state business returns, and not once this season have I been able to e-file all at once. I always got an error message instructing me to try again, but if the error persists to contact support. Their work-around is always to file a few at a time. Now I have to select and try groupings. Some states must be included with the Federal, some not. I can't know how many returns to transmit in each group in order to avoid the error message. In addition to this frustration is the task of having to unlock the file so that I can proceed with choosing and transmitting the next bunch of returns. This is too inefficient, error-prone, time-consuming, and shows lack of sophistication of your software.
